12-08-2025The machine doesn’t dry fruit at a go, which is disappointing for me because it has a max of 10 hours which can my dry an orange slice and the max temp of 70. This is not enabling me with my new business as I anticipatedAdministrators CommentDear Ms Masingi. Dehydrators dry food at a slow speed. Once food is heated to 67C it starts to cook. Dehydrators all typically have a maximum heat setting of 65-70C, so as to not heat the food to above 67C, avoiding cooking the food because of higher temperatures. The purpose of a dehydrator is to slowly remove the moisture from food, without cooking it – all produce must be kept below the cooking temperature of 67C.
30-06-2025We have received the dehydrator and already tested it out with pineapple……totally thrilled at outcome and satisfied and found everything at this stage easy to work with. Appreciate so much for all efficiency time wise from order to arrival. Look forward to further explorations with our food and herbs.
31-03-2025Great service and prompt delivery. I purchased the unit for a colleague who recently retired. She’s extremely happy with it and impressed by the number of racks and the combination of the racks being made of plastic and not metal. She hasn’t tried it out yet, but overall, she’s very pleased—and so am I. Thinking of getting myself one as well.
