The input power in terms of wattage provided to charge your Jackery 500 will depend on the strength of the sun. You received your unit in late August. We have had miserable weather in Cape Town lately - not much sun at all. Your Jackery 500 will charge off the solar panel a lot quicker once there is a bit of sun.
