28-02-2025Ensure you have aan installer in your area, despite Ecohub's promise to help "step by step", my installer struggled for three days to commission the unit on the app and add me as an owner. I was a bit disappointed in the assistance that we received with the install, but the unit itself is looking great!Administrators CommentHi Beth. We hadn't installed one of the Huawei systems in Plettenberg Bay before. We have our own installers covering most areas. I made some enquiries and found an installer who could assist you. You decided to rather use a different installer. They contacted me late on Wednesday afternoon. I was unable to send them the step by step guides at the time as I was on the road. I advised that they should have gotten in contact before going to the installation site, so that they'd be prepared. Gareth was then communicating with me on Wednesday night. I sent him all the installation instructions at 21:15 on WED. On Thursday morning he was unable to connect to the inverter to commission as he wasn't following the instructions correctly. He was using his personal Huawei account login, instead of the login which is printed on top of the inverter. I managed to figure out what he was doing wrong on Thursday morning, and by Thursday at 13:30 he had the system up and running correctly. They had not been in contact with me for 3 days. I provided assistance after hours, and by the following morning figured out what they were doing incorrectly.
24-05-2024EcoHub /Dylan was super efficient and communicative throughout the entire purchasing process of my Isitepower Plant, he made the time to call me and answer all my questions and personally followed up making sure the unit arrived without any hiccups. The post-purchase service has been equally impressive. 05-12-2023Unit is working very well. Very quiet, neat and compact. In a normal 2.5hour load shedding my 2 bedroom apartment uses about 10% of the battery. This is with fridge, TV, WiFi, decoder and sound system on. So far I’m very happy. Lebo the recommended installer was fast, neat and a good communicator. Dylan's response time was fantastic, we ordered on a Sunday and email confirmation from courier was received the next morning with the inverter arriving on Wednesday.
