What is the difference between the Oscar Classic, DA1000 and DA900 juicers?

The Oscar Classic is the latest model Oscar juicer. It's model number is DA950. The DA900 has won many awards in it's time, it is now the oldest of the three models, but is still being manufactured by the factory in South Korea.

The Oscar Classic and DA1000 use newer, stronger parts than the DA900 and they also have a 5 year warranty on parts vs the DA900's 2 year warranty.

We therefore recommend the Classic or DA1000 over the DA900.

Both the Oscar Classic juicer and DA1000 have a pressure adjustment system on the front end. This was an improvement over the DA900 which improved juice yield.

All of the Oscars come with all the parts that you'll need to make nut butter, sorbet, baby puree, pasta etc. No extra / optional parts are available.

The Oscar Classic has a slightly larger feeding chute than the DA1000.

The Classic also comes with an extra juicing strainer which is specifically for softer fruits.

The DA1000 is available in four colours, while the Classic is only available in Pearly white.

The DA1000 is currently about R1000 less than the Classic. Both machines will produce a very similar yield and juice quality.

If you've been doing research online, you may have seen the Oscar DA1000 being referred to as the Oscar Neo. The Oscar Classic is sold under the Omega brand, as the Omega Sana. Different countries / distributors do assign different names - these are however the same juicers, all made by the same factory in South Korea.
