Description

Mockmill 100 Stone Mill — Fresh Flour, German Engineered (360 W)

The Mockmill 100 Stone Mill brings freshly ground flour to your kitchen whenever you need it. Engineered in Germany with eco-friendly materials, this mill uses corundum-ceramic stones and a powerful 360 W motor to deliver nutrient-rich flour for healthier baking and cooking.

What can you grind?

The Mockmill 100 handles a wide variety of dry grains, legumes, and seeds (avoiding oily or sticky types). Its durable corundum-ceramic stones and stepless grind adjustment—from very fine to coarse—let you process:

  • Wheat (hard & soft)
  • Rye & Spelt
  • Oats (dehulled)
  • Rice — perfect for gluten-free flour
  • Maize/Corn — ideal for tortillas, polenta
  • Quinoa, Amaranth & Millet
  • Buckwheat — great for pancakes and noodles
  • Legumes — chickpeas, lentils, peas, beans for high-protein flours
  • Ancient Grains — Einkorn, Kamut, Emmer for heritage baking

Note: Avoid flax, sesame, chia, nuts, popcorn, and oily grains — these can clog the stones.

What can you prepare?

  • Sourdough breads with full flavour and nutrition
  • Wholegrain sandwich loaves that are soft yet hearty
  • Gluten-free cakes, breads, and cookies using rice or quinoa flour
  • Chapati, pita, roti, and flatbreads made fresh
  • Rice-flour noodles and buckwheat soba
  • Oat porridge, pancakes, and granola breakfasts
  • Falafel, veggie burgers, or casseroles with legume flour
  • Rustic artisan-style breads like German rye or Italian pane integrale

Why it matters for your health

  • More nutrients: Fresh milling retains B vitamins, iron, magnesium, and more.
  • Richer oils: Natural grain oils stay intact—in packaged flour, they’re often lost or rancid.
  • Better digestion: Full-spectrum bran, germ, and soluble fiber support gut wellness.
  • Fuller, longer: Whole-grain flour helps balance blood sugar and keeps you satisfied.

Cleaning & Care

Proper care keeps your Mockmill performing smoothly—no tools or disassembly needed.

? Quick Cleaning Steps

  1. Empty the hopper and run the mill briefly empty to clear dust.
  2. Process plain white rice (uncooked, not parboiled): about ½ to 1 cup on a medium-fine setting. The rice absorbs oils and cleans the stones.
  3. Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth or brush. Never introduce moisture inside the mill.

⚠️ Avoid These

  • Parboiled or brown rice (too hard/oily)
  • Wet or sprouted grains (can clog)
  • Water or soaking the stones (damages components)

Tip: Clean every few weeks or after gluten-free or legume milling to maintain performance.

FAQ — Do’s & Don’ts

✔ What can I grind?

Dry grains, legumes, and heritage grains—wheat, rye, rice, quinoa, lentils, and more. Sprouted and cracked grains are also suitable when fully dried.

✘ What to avoid?

Oily or moist materials like flax, chia, nuts, popcorn, or oily seeds.

Do’s

  • Always start the mill before adding grain.
  • Use clean, dry ingredients—test dryness by a “crack” test (not crush).
  • Clean with rice—light abrasive keeps stones fresh.
  • Adjust water when using whole-grain flour—it's more absorbent.

Don’ts

  • Don’t mill oily or sticky foods.
  • Don’t let stones touch while running on fine setting.
  • Don’t store grains in the hopper after use.

The Mockmill 100 is surprisingly quiet for an electric mill—perfect for daily use in any kitchen.

Gluten-free milling?
Yes—you can grind rice, millet, buckwheat, quinoa, sorghum. For strict routines, clean carefully or dedicate a mill.

How to get very fine flour?
