The Huawei Power-M is a stylish, all in one, modular backup power solution. Being a hybrid system, it allows you to use the system with or without solar panels. The modular system allows you to easily add addtional batteries. You can start off with one battery and stack up to three on a single tower. This setup would then give you battery capacity of 15kwh. Further upgrade paths allow you to add a 2nd inverter in parellel or an addtional tower of battery modules.
"I installed the Huawei Power-M at my house in 2022 when we had regular stage 6 load shedding. Having started with one battery, I later upgraded to 2 batteries, then added solar panels, and eventually a 3rd battery. With the current setup, my house is virtually off grid. 05-12-2023Unit is working very well. Very quiet, neat and compact. In a normal 2.5hour load shedding my 2 bedroom apartment uses about 10% of the battery. This is with fridge, TV, WiFi, decoder and sound system on. So far I’m very happy. Lebo the recommended installer was fast, neat and a good communicator. 06-06-2023We can highly recommend Ecohub. We ordered the Huawei Isitepower Inverter and Battery. Dylan's response time was fantastic, we ordered on a Sunday and email confirmation from courier was received the next morning with the inverter arriving on Wednesday. Dylan recommended an installer in JHB who was also excellent, and by Thursday we were up and running, fully connected to the distribution board.
