SANA’S FLAGSHIP JUICER
Four speeds, and a motor that never needs a rest
The Sana 727 Supreme is Sana’s flagship horizontal cold press juicer, and in our view the most advanced juicer you can buy today. It is built around a brushless DC motor that Sana designed and patented for it, with four speed settings and no limit on how long it can run.
That combination is what sets it apart. Most slow juicers turn at one fixed speed and need a rest after 15 to 30 minutes. The 727 lets you choose the speed for what you are juicing, from 40 RPM for celery, greens and roots to 120 RPM for citrus, and keeps going for as long as the produce lasts.
It is a horizontal single-auger juicer, the design that handles celery, leafy greens, wheatgrass and ginger best, and it is just as capable with carrot, beetroot, apple and citrus. EcoHub is the official Sana importer for South Africa.

FOUR-SPEED CONTROL
Choose the speed for the produce
A dial on the side gives you 40, 65, 90 and 120 RPM, and you can change speed while juicing. Sana recommends the lower speeds for root vegetables and fibrous produce: slower pressing is gentler and keeps foam and oxidation down.
The higher speeds suit juicy, low-fibre produce such as oranges and grapefruit, which press easily and juice faster at 90 or 120 RPM. High speed also saves time with the optional Sana oil extractor attachment.
Most slow juicers run somewhere between 43 and 110 RPM, at one speed you cannot change. With the 727 you set the speed for the ingredient instead of accepting whatever the machine was built for.
WHAT IT MAKES
Celery and greens, carrot and beetroot, and fruit
A horizontal auger presses fibrous produce instead of letting it wrap, which is why it is the right design for celery juice, wheatgrass, kale, spinach, ginger and turmeric. The 727 takes these on at low speed, and its dual hopper, a standard chute plus a deep bowl, makes leafy greens and small produce easy to feed.
It is not a greens-only machine. Carrot, beetroot, apple, pear and citrus juice well at the right speed, and the coarse screen handles soft fruit such as pineapple and berries.
The third screen is a homogenising screen with no holes. Use it for nut butters, almond milk, frozen-fruit sorbet, baby food and dips.

BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR
A motor built to keep going
At the heart of the 727 is a 150 W brushless DC motor that Sana designed and patented for this juicer. Sana says it costs far more to make than an ordinary juicer motor, and that it pays back in lower weight, durability, quiet running and precise speed control.
It also has no run-time limit, so a big batch is one session. For very large batches, Sana suggests juicing about a kilogram at a time and rinsing the screen before you carry on, which keeps the yield up.
Don’t judge it by the wattage. In a slow juicer, steady torque at low speed matters more than the watt figure, and Sana chose a brushless motor for its torque, quiet running and control rather than raw power.
BUILT FOR DAILY USE
Small details that make juicing easier
A new auger with more widely spaced fins takes bigger bites of produce, and a rotating stainless-steel blade at the pulp outlet gives the pulp a final cut and squeeze. Sana says the result is the highest yield it has achieved from any horizontal juicer.
The drum attaches with a twist and releases with a button, with no clamp or locking collar. A locking juice cap means you can carry the drum to the sink without drips, then fill it with water for a quick rinse.
Two accessories come in the box: a 500 ml juice glass hand-made at the Novosad & Son glassworks in Bohemia, and a stainless-steel pulp catcher, handy if you keep pulp for muffins, crackers and soups.

MADE FOR SOUTH AFRICAN POWER
Imported by EcoHub, backed in South Africa
EcoHub is the official Sana importer, and every 727 we sell is the 220–240 V model for South African mains. A juicer bought from an overseas marketplace may be a different-voltage model and carries no local warranty.
The 727 is covered for 15 years on the motor and 5 years on parts. Warranty claims come to us and are handled here, not sent overseas.
Spare parts are available through EcoHub, and we can advise on Sana’s optional celery blade and oil extractor attachment.

How the Sana 727 sits against the alternatives
The Sana 929 Ultimate sits above the 727. It is built on the same brushless motor platform, reinforced to carry a juicing set made of solid stainless steel, and adds an adjustable pressure cap. It is the pinnacle of the range and a statement piece; the 727 gives you the same motor and four speeds with a lighter, BPA-free juicing set.
The Sana 707 is the reliable classic and often the go-to: a simpler horizontal juicer that is easy to operate and slightly more affordable. Choose the 707 if you want proven, straightforward health juicing, and the 727 if you want speed control, a motor with no run-time limit and the latest juicing system.
If you would rather not feed the juicer at all, the Sana 878 is Sana’s hands-free vertical juicer. Load its 2-litre hopper and walk away; it is at its best with fruit-led juice, and comes with a vacuum container for juicing a few days ahead.
Questions we are asked about the Sana 727
Three things together: a brushless DC motor that Sana designed and patented for it, four speeds you can change while juicing, and no limit on how long it can run. Most slow juicers have one fixed speed and need a rest after 15 to 30 minutes. Add the new auger and rotating pulp blade, which Sana says give its highest yield from a horizontal juicer, and that is why Sana calls it the world’s most advanced slow juicer.
As a rule, low speeds for fibrous and dense produce such as celery, leafy greens, wheatgrass, ginger, carrot and beetroot, and high speeds for juicy, low-fibre fruit such as oranges and grapefruit. Lower speeds also mean less foam. The manual includes Sana’s speed guide for each ingredient, including sorbet, almond milk and oil extraction.
Yes, it is one of the best juicers for them. The horizontal auger presses long, stringy celery and leafy greens without wrapping, and the deep bowl on the dual hopper makes greens easy to feed. Sana recommends feeding wheatgrass and herbs in handfuls, cut into 3 to 4 cm pieces, and slicing ginger thinly. An optional celery blade is also available for celery-heavy juicing.
The fine screen gives the highest yield and the clearest juice. The coarse screen has less pressure, so softer fruit such as pineapple and berries juices without clogging, and the juice is pulpier. The homogenising screen has no holes: it crushes and mixes instead of separating juice from pulp, for nut butters, sorbets and baby food. Sana’s video shows each one.
Yes. Fit the homogenising screen, close the juice cap, feed slowly and collect the result from the pulp outlet; the manual’s speed guide covers sorbet and almond milk. Use slightly thawed frozen fruit for sorbet, cut into small pieces.
There is no run-time limit: the brushless motor is designed for continuous use. For very large batches, Sana recommends juicing about 1 kg at a time, then taking the drum apart and rinsing the screen before carrying on, to keep the yield up. If produce jams, the 727 reverses automatically and resumes at the same speed.
Clean it straight after juicing. Close the juice cap, fill the drum with water at the sink to loosen pulp, then take the drum apart, rinse the parts and brush the screen. Don’t use the dishwasher, very hot water, dishwashing liquid or abrasive pads, and dry the parts afterwards. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
Both share the brushless motor platform and four speeds. The Sana 929 Ultimate adds a juicing set made entirely of solid stainless steel and an adjustable pressure cap, and is the pinnacle of the range. The 727 is Sana’s flagship, with the same core technology in a lighter, BPA-free juicing set.
The Sana 707 is the reliable classic: a simpler, slightly more affordable horizontal juicer that is easy to operate, and often the go-to for straightforward health juicing. Choose the 727 if you want four speeds, a motor with no run-time limit, the latest auger and pulp blade, and the twist-on drum and locking juice cap.
Yes, for light commercial use such as breakfast service in a guest house, lodge or boutique hotel. The continuous-duty motor means it won’t need a rest mid-service, and it handles health-led juices with greens, celery and ginger as well as fruit. Many boutique hotels and lodges choose the Sana 929 for the same reasons, with a stainless-steel juicing set.
