Very unhappy with this air purifier. I live in an area where people often burn things at night and the smoke smell/odour comes through under the edges of the doors and windows. This air purifier is for my bedroom which is 12sqm, it says it covers an area of 30sqm, and captures smoke, odours, VOC’s yet it is not effective. No matter how long I run it, there is always a lingering smell. I would say it captures up to 75-80% of the smell. Very dissaointed in this brand, wish I had chosen something else.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment with the Solenco product.
Unfortunately, if smoke is constantly coming in under the doors and windows, no air purifier is going to eliminate the odour completely.
I would suggest fitting seals on the doors and windows to stop the smoke coming in once they’re closed, and then allow the air purifier to clear the smoke inside the room.
I would then suggest closing the windows in the early evening and turning the air purifier, giving it sufficient time to clear the air before bedtime.
To be honest, given your situation, I feel that the air purifier is doing well to eliminate 75-80% of the odour (considering that the smoke is still coming into the room). Please try fitting some window seals and let me know if the situation improves.
Very happy with my order. I was surprised with the excellent quality. It’s bigger than what I expected but still fits on my bedside table. I have it on sleep mode all the time and it makes a huge difference with air quality in my bedroom since I have a cat.
