The OmniBlend I gives you full manual control over a 3HP motor, and the 2L narrow-base jug makes it one of the most adaptable blenders we sell. It is well suited to home cooks, coffee shops and restaurant kitchens that prefer a simple dial to preset programmes.
Simple Dial Control
The OmniBlend I keeps things straightforward: an on/off switch, a turn-dial for variable speed and a pulse switch for quick chopping. You decide exactly how fast it runs, which makes it easy to go from a gentle mix to full power, or to stop at the texture you want.
The Same 3HP Motor as the Rest of the Range
Like every OmniBlend, the OmniBlend I runs on a 3HP motor with 2238W peak power and speeds up to 38,000 RPM. A built-in thermal shut-off protects the motor from overheating, and the stainless-steel moving parts are made for daily use.
Why the 2L Narrow Base?
The narrow base pulls ingredients into the blades efficiently, so thick blends like nut butter, hummus and pesto need less scraping. It also grinds dry ingredients such as grains, seeds and spices, and still has room for family-sized smoothies.
Which Jug Suits You?
All OmniBlend jugs fit every base. The OmniBlend I is also available with a 1.5L jug or the 4L jug.
- 1.5L wide base – best for icy, thick drinks with lots of frozen fruit. Fits the sound enclosure.
- 1.5L narrow base – blends, grinds and purées like the 2L jug, in smaller quantities. Fits the sound enclosure.
- 2L narrow base – the most versatile size: smoothies, nut butters, hummus, pesto and dry grinding.
- 4L – for large batches of soup, sauce or smoothie mix.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the 2L jug fit the sound enclosure?
No. The OmniBlend sound enclosure takes 1.5L jugs only.
How is the OmniBlend I different from the OmniBlend V?
Both share the same 3HP motor. The OmniBlend I uses a manual dial for variable speed, while the OmniBlend V has a touchpad with three fixed speeds and auto timers.
Can I use other OmniBlend jugs on this base?
Yes. All OmniBlend jugs fit every OmniBlend base, so you can add a second size later. The Smoothie Cup needs an adaptor.
Can I blend hot soup?
Yes. The jug is heat-resistant to 120°C and handles hot ingredients up to 100°C, so soups can be blended straight from the pot.
Is the jug dishwasher-safe?
Yes, although rinsing or hand washing keeps the jug looking good for longer. Most of the time, a quick blend with warm soapy water followed by a rinse is all it needs.
