Great service from Ecohub – Dylan answered my questions about functionality immediately and monitored delivery. The Jackery Explorer 1000 has transformed my ability to work during load shedding – I wish I had bought it ages ago. My wifi, alarm, computer stay up even when loadshedding is extended to 4 hours and the Jackery charges quickly enough between load shedding sessions at Level 6.
Even though this is on the more affordable end of the market, it is expensive for what it is, which in my case is a big battery. Everything works as advertised, easy to use, super portable with a good feature set, this will run my small home office for 8 to 10 hours when there is no power, and my flat screen TV and treaming box for another 4 hours on top of what. The fan can get a little intrusive and faster charging would have been awesome, but not a bad product. The only real downside is that it cannot startup my 17 year old double door fridge-freezer combo. This is likely mnore to do with my cooling unit than the jackery though.
