Why choose this REVOV and Sunsynk backup system?
- 10.24 kWh nominal storage: Two 5.12 kWh batteries provide substantial capacity for essential household or business loads.
- 6kW hybrid inverter: Supplies up to 6,000 W of rated AC and UPS power, with a maximum AC output of 6,600 W.
- Solar ready: Connect compatible solar panels to reduce grid consumption and recharge the batteries using solar energy.
- Two MPPT trackers: Supports flexible solar-array design and up to 7,800 W of maximum DC solar input.
- LiFePO₄ battery chemistry: Designed for safe, stable and long-lasting daily cycling.
- Intelligent battery communication: CAN Bus and RS485 communication allow the inverter and battery BMS to exchange operating data.
- Expandable battery bank: REVOV E100 batteries can be added to compatible REVOV installations where additional storage is required.
- Automatic backup: Correctly installed essential circuits can remain powered when grid electricity fails.
REVOV E100 battery bank
Each REVOV E100 is a 51.2 V, 100 Ah LiFePO₄ battery with 5.12 kWh of nominal energy storage. Two batteries provide a combined 200 Ah and 10.24 kWh nominal capacity.
The batteries feature a PACE battery management system, built-in LCD monitoring and CAN Bus or RS485 communication. Their slim 3U rack-mounted format allows for a clean and organised installation.
Sunsynk 6kW hybrid inverter
The Sunsynk 6kW hybrid inverter manages power from the grid, batteries and compatible solar panels. It can prioritise available solar power, charge the REVOV battery bank and automatically supply connected backup circuits during an outage.
The inverter supports 40–60 V lithium-ion battery banks, with maximum charging and discharging currents of 135 A. Although the two batteries can collectively support higher current, the complete system must be configured within the inverter, battery and installation limits.

Frequently asked questions
How much battery storage does this system provide?
The two REVOV E100 batteries provide a combined nominal storage capacity of 10.24 kWh. Actual usable energy and backup time depend on battery settings, reserve levels, system losses and the connected load.
Can this system run an entire home?
The inverter can supply up to 6,000 W of rated output. Whether it can run an entire property depends on which appliances are used simultaneously. High-demand equipment such as electric geysers, ovens, heaters and large air conditioners may need to be excluded or managed carefully.
Can solar panels be added?
Yes. The Sunsynk inverter is a solar-ready hybrid inverter with two MPPT trackers and supports up to 7,800 W of maximum DC solar input, subject to correct panel-string design.
Is the 51.2 V battery compatible with a 48 V inverter?
Yes. A 51.2 V LiFePO₄ battery is the standard nominal voltage used in many 48 V-class battery systems. The Sunsynk inverter supports a battery voltage range of 40–60 V.
Does this package require professional installation?
Yes. The inverter and batteries must be installed and commissioned by a suitably qualified installer. Correct cabling, protection equipment, earthing, battery communication and inverter programming are essential for safe operation and warranty compliance.
Please note: Installation, battery racking, cabling, electrical protection, solar panels and other balance-of-system components may be required and should be confirmed when requesting a quotation.
