Hubble Energy, formerly known as Hubble Lithium, is a South African energy storage company focused on developing reliable lithium battery and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions.

Founded in 2020, Hubble rapidly established itself in the South African solar and backup power market. Hubble’s residential battery range includes LiFePO4 lithium batteries designed for modern hybrid inverter, solar, backup power and off-grid installations.

The range includes higher-capacity energy storage solutions such as the Hubble AM5+, AM10+ and AM16+, allowing systems to be designed around different storage and power requirements.

Hubble batteries incorporate advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) and are designed to communicate with compatible leading inverter platforms, making them suitable for a wide variety of residential and commercial solar installations.

Hubble Cloudlink Remote Monitoring

A key part of the Hubble ecosystem is Hubble Cloudlink, the company’s internet-connected battery monitoring and diagnostics platform.

Cloudlink allows customers and installers to remotely monitor important battery and system information while also assisting Hubble’s technical support team with remote diagnostics and troubleshooting. Newer Hubble batteries, including selected AM-Series models, feature integrated Cloudlink monitoring.

Hubble Energy has expanded beyond traditional home backup batteries and now develops energy storage systems for a wide range of applications, from individual residential installations through to substantial commercial and industrial BESS projects.

The company’s energy storage portfolio includes low-voltage and high-voltage battery systems, rack-mounted and scalable solutions, and larger commercial energy storage systems.
